Favorite NYC Valentine's Day Restaurants
It’s love month, and if you haven’t made a Valentine’s Day dinner reservation yet, it’s time to jump on it! In case you need some ideas, here is our list of recs. Curated by Laura (who says her top hobby is dining out) and perfect for a romantic night out.
Le Crocodile
Located in Williamsburg's Wythe Hotel, Le Crocodile serves classic French dishes in a gorgeous setting. If you want to feel like you have been transported to a chic Brasserie in Paris, then Le Crocodile is the perfect place to go for valentine’s day. Nothing says romance like martinis and steak frites.
Parcelle Wine Bar
A wine shop by day, by night turns into the most vibey wine bar you will ever experience. Their wine list is unique and extensive, but the best part is the seating. Cozy up on the couch and enjoy tasty bites and delicious wine together, the perfect way to start the night or make it the main event. Another bonus is its location: Dimes Square, get ready for some great people watching.
El Quijote
El Quijote, located in the Hotel Chelsea, has been around since 1930 and was a hangout for many musicians, artist, and writers in its earlier days. It is known for paella and other traditional Spanish dishes. The restaurant has been recently renovated and you will love the large mural on the walls, original ceramic tiles, and red booths that give this charming restaurant its character. Before your meal be sure to grab a martini at the hotel’s Lobby Bar (which are so strong they limit you to two).
Casino
We love everything about this Dimes Square spot from the formal dining room that feels anything but formal, to the Italian seafood inspired menu and the sweetest team. This is definitely the spot to dress up and have a fancy date without the stuffiness.
One White Street
One White Street is located in a historic townhouse in TriBeCa and has a laid-back vibe that makes you feel at home. Not to mention the service is some of the best in NYC. It’s Valentine’s Day so definitely splurge and book the tasting menu, where you will dine on locally grown/seasonal delights.
Roman’s
Everyone has a favorite neighborhood spot and this is Laura’s. We love this cozy Italian-inspired farm-to-table restaurant in Fort Green, Brooklyn. The menu is always evolving because of their seasonal and sustainable approach and each night there is a different sour and bitter cocktail to enjoy. We love the atmosphere at night with the low lights glinting off white subway tile.
